What do you need?
A printed pattern of the stars
Craft cardboard, red, white, blue
A pencil
Scissors
Hobby glue
A hole punch
Cotton thread
A large needle
Felted balls ( 2 cm)
We are already making a beautiful red, white, and blue garland with the mini-monsters. This coming Saturday is July 4th, and then America is celebrating the Fourth! We are cutting out the stars (for those who still find it difficult). The little monsters are sticking stars together; they let the glue dry thoroughly first!
Then they punch holes in them with the hole puncher, and they really enjoy that! Meanwhile, we are threading the felt balls onto the garland, because that is very difficult. Then they thread the stars on, taking turns. The garland is turning out very beautiful!
This is how you make a red, white, and blue garland for July Fourth
Trace the stars on coloured cardstock.
Cut out as many stars you like, in 2 sizes.
Glue the small stars neatly onto the large.
Stick two different colours on top of each other.
Allow the glue to dry well for a moment.
Punch holes of let them be punched ;))
Sting balls onto the thread.
Pushing the needle through requires quite a strong hand!
Alternate the balls with stars, the little monsters choose them.
The garland is a succes, it moves from room to room every day :)))
Happy Fourth of July to you all!
