Shamrock cookie cutters
Kite paper, two shades of green
A pen
Scissors
Mod Podge mat
Craft glue
A matching ribbon
Our shamrock cookie cutters also come in handy when making a St. Patrick's Day lantern. We cut the shamrocks from kite paper, which shines beautifully. When it gets dark, we'll have a beautiful light.
How to make a St. Patrick's Day shamrock lantern
Trace the cookie cutter on the kite paper.
Cut out the shamrocks neatly within the edges.
Cut out large and small shamrocks, in light and dark green.
How many you have to cut depends on the size of your pot.
Brush Modpodge on the pot and press on the shamrocks neatly.
Allow the ,odpodge the time to dry.
Then brush on another layer to seal the paper. and let it dry again.
Brush glue on the ribbon and press it around the top of the pot.
Place a tea light into the lantern when the glue has dried well.
The little monsters think the St. Patrick's Day lantern looks beautiful!
