We're turning a wooden treasure chest into a fun little box and stuffing it with wooden items we already have at home. We're painting the figures and using the wooden farm animals to add to it. That's a fun toy for little hands!
Here's how you can make a cute treasure chest like this
Paint the doll's dress.
Allow the paint to dry a minute.
Paint the box with grass.
Glue the wooden pieces together.
Paint the top of the chest light blue.
Allow the paint to dry well.
Paint the flowers as well.
Let it all dry again.
Decorate the lid.
Paint flowers all around.
Neatly paint the inner edge.
Paint a face on the doll and let the paint on all dry well.
Give the chest and items a child-safe and environmentally friendly coat of varnish and the watercolour will stay beautiful much longer!
