Eid for Nylah

Today we're reading a wonderful picture book about Eid al-Fitr: Eid for Nylah. This book is in the English language (not (yet) translated into Dutch)  as there aren't many books written in Dutch about this holiday yet.

We did find one this year, so that's great! But this lovely picture book is about Nylah the cat, and how she experiences Eid al-Fitr. Maybe you know already what very curious animals cats are and in this time of year there is a lot going on in the house where Nylah lives!

The illustrations in the book are truly contemporary and the story is very cute and funny. The book is attractively printed in a generous size, with beautiful silver lettering and glitters. Plus, free stories are told from an audio book, if you scan the code you find inside the book. So much fun!
