Fourth of July Fun!

In today’s Little Golden Book, you can read all about one of the most important holidays in the United States of America: the Fourth of July. On this special day—on July 4th, 1776—the thirteen American states signed the Declaration of Independence. This meant that these territories were no longer under the rule of King George III of England. The United States of America was born, America's own country with their own government and laws.

But that is not what this cheerful book is all about for us, we already know all of this history. But how is this festive day celebrated in the USA? That is what we really like to know! ;)))

This cheerful Little golden book tells a rhyming story about how Independence Day on the Fourth of July is celebrated every year, in America, to this day. On this national holiday, there are celebrations everywhere—with parades and fairs, barbecues and picnics—and big fireworks displays in the evening! A really fun book for young monsters!
