1 ripe banana
75g milk chocolate, chopped
3 organic eggs, M
1 tablespoon double cream
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 slices of crusty bread
25g butter
On your day off, you might want to make a delicious, sweet breakfast. Today we're making a delicious French toast with banana and chocolate, which you wouldn't want to eat every week. We're not even counting the calories; we're afraid they'll be countless. :))) But every now and then we enjoy making this toast, and everyone,little and large, loves it!
How to make French toast with banana and chocolate
Mush the banana.
Chop the chocolate.
Chop the chocolate finely.
Add it to the mashed banana.
Fold the chocolate into the banana.
Cut for slices of off the bread.
Spread the mixture over 2 bread slices.
Press the other 2 slices on top, set it aside for now..
Mix in a large plate the eggs with cream, syrup and vanilla.
Beat it all together well, until the mixture looks light and airy.
Heat the frying pan and add a knob of butter.
Soak the double toast in the egg ixture.
Flip the bread and soak the other side.
Place the toast in the pan and fry until golden.
It takes about 1 minute on each side
Remove the toast from the pan when golden brown.
The banana chocolate mixture tastes delicious on the crispy French toast.
Finally, you can serve icing sugar and/or maple syrup on the side with the French toast
