Give a book to someone 2026!

The annual "Give a Book as a Gift" campaign kicks off today, and this year's book is a very special one! This year—for the first time in the campaign's history_an author has been chosen and asked to write a brand-new book, especially for this campaign.

This year's chosen author was thrilled to do so! And who is that author? None other than Pieter Koolwijk, a fantastic Dutch author beloved by most children in the Netherlands. Who doesn't know his best-selling book Gozert? Together with equally well-known illustrator Linde Faas this beautiful book was created!

As everyone probably knows by now, the annual campaign aims to get every child reading,and make them happy with a beautiful new book. That's why, during the promotion, you can buy such a beautifully written and illustrated, brand new book for the small price of € 2.99 at any Dutch bookstore.

You can buy it for yourself, but you can also give it as a gift to someone you know. Or donate a book (or more)—that's always a nice gesture for children who might not otherwise receive the book. The more people participate, the more children can enjoy Limbusland!
