Hanukkah Hamster is definitely THE book for all children and adults who love hamsters! A cute book about Hanukkah, with a very different from usual story and a surprising ending! The book is written very well by the American children's author Michelle Markel. Nothing but praise for this picture book, young and older all love it!
The atmospheric, wintery illustrations - which fit the story perfectly - are by Brazilian illustrator André Ceolin. Wonderful to read this book to the mini-monsters at this time of year. We won't sit next to our Hammie's cage when we read, we think that's a bit sad for her ;) She has a good life with us but never had such a fun an adventure.
