Hello, Fourth of july!

For the most important holiday in the United States of America, we found this fun board book: Hello, Fourth of July! This book clearly explains to our littlest monsters what this holiday looks like in the United States, but also why July 4 is actually a holiday. The big Eagle in the book explains that July 4th is America's birthday, and he does so in a very fun way, in rhyme. Our little mini-monsters love the book!

The author/illustrator of this board book, Martha Day Zschock, has already created quite a few children's books. She started with Hello America! and then went on to create books for various large, well-known American cities. But she has also made a book about the National Parks, Yellowstone, and the Rockies and they are all equally cute!
