Last September picture book The Little House was published here by Lemniscaat Publishers. It is a lovely picture book that was written and illustrated in 1942, by the American author/illustrator Viginia Lee Burton. In 1943 the book won the Caldecott Medal for illustration, quite an achievement!
We are glad that Lemniscaat has translated the book into Dutch, because it is a sweet story and stil on topic. The illustrations of the expressive, endearing Little House are beautiful, a wonderful book to read to our young mini-monsters!
