We read a fun picture book to the mini-monsters: How to Become a Real Ballerina by Meg and Lucy Clibbon. This book is about the dream of many little girls and boys. It's just a pity that the sisters didn't include the little boys who dream of ballet in the book. Really a missed opportunity, because there are a lot of books for ballerinas in the making, but in comparison ballerinos do not come off well.
This is a fun book with lots of useful information and all kinds of fun facts & little quizzes. The funny, colourful illustrations give the book a cheerful look. A lot of care has been taken with the appearance of this book!
It has a sturdy cover with beautiful silver accents and it is printed on sturdy, matte glossy paper. It gives the book a luxurious look. A sweet present for a budding young ballerina ;))
