We're still practicing "reading" with the little monsters. Author Anne Blokker wrote this AVI starter book series, "Reading is Fun," and she knows exactly how to get little monsters reading with joy. The book doesn't have a complete story, but all the fun pictures with texts are little stories in themselves.

The monsters confidently read the little words and short sentences to us, that accompany the fun pictures. We all burst out laughing with the first page. Because the circus clown scares the fat circus boss with a jack-in-the-box ;))

The fun illustrations in this book series were created by Alex de Wolf. The funny cover alone makes the books very appealing to our little monsters.
