For our littlest ones we like to buy the books by Ingela P. Arrhenius, such as this one: In the forest. She has made a series of it again, but the little book are very cute and not expensive. Nice sturdy cardboard, you can also set them up.
The book is colourful, with sweet animals and without words. Also nice, this book fits in nicely with the Gi-ga-green theme of this children's book week. Little mini-monsters can just as well learn it young! ;))
