A group of street children embarks on a journey to the great port city of Seville. They want to escape their hopeless lives. The book is exciting and adventurous, but we haven't finished it yet. We really want to know how it ends for the children, but it is quite a thick book. We will be very sad when it is finished, that we know already!
The wonderful black-and-white illustrations in this book were created by Mark Janssen. Our monsters have known his illustrations for years now, but they find these very special; they fit the story so beautifully. We are all delighted with this book and can hardly wait to find out how it ends. Warmly recommended but sadly only in Dutch!
