What do you need?
Green folding leaves 14x14cm
1 sheet green craft cardstock
Small piece pink craft cardstock
A heart-shaped cookie cutter
Pencil
Scissors
Glue stick
Thick black marker
Today we're making fun bookmarks, because it's Saint Patrick's Day. These bookmarks are fun and sturdy, so you can use them again next year. Or use them all year round—who doesn't love shamrocks?
Here's how you make a Saint Patrick's Day bookmarks
Place a folding sheet in front of you.
Turn and fold diagonally.
Fold the right side to the top.
Fold the left side the same way.
Fold both sides open.
Fold one of the top points downward.
Tuck the right point in and downwards.
Now you have a triangle with a pouch.
Trace the heart cutter with pencil on the cardstock.
Draw the heart 3 times and also draw 1 stem.
We cut out the whole shamrock in one go,
Our little monster cuts out the 3 leaves and the stem separately, then glues them all together, for young children this works much better
We give the shamrocks a cute face and trace it using the marker.
When the glue and marker has dried well you can use your booknark!
