In 2025, Christofoor Publishers decided to posthumously republish two of Dutch author/illustrator Loek Koopmans' picture books, in the series Christofoor Classics. The little christmas tree and Any Room For Me? both got new covers and they look stunning! A lot of care has clearly gone into these two new editions. Hopefully more parts in this series will follow.
Many children have already grown up with these two wonderful picture books. Little Christmas Tree (Het Boompje) was written back in the year 2000 and Any room foom for me? (kan ik er ook nog bij?) is even from 1990. How marvelous that whole new generations are now growing up with these beloved books? Thank you Christofoor! we say wholeheartedly.
