Today we're making some fun decorations for St. Patrick's Day—not in your face decorations, but simple, small and cute. Wool felt shamrocks in a flowerpot. One of the little moonstars saw them online, so we're getting started right away. The monsters are good at sewing, so this is a piece of cake for them, but we think you can do it too.
How to make wool felt shamrocks
Pin the pattern onto the felt
Cut out the hearts, 3 per plant.
Cut off the bottom points.
Lace a thread through 3 leaves.
Pull boht ends of the thread tightly.
Tie the ends into 2-3 firm knots.
Wrap the ends tightly around the piecleaner and tie off.
Fill the plant pots with the beans.
Now you have 2 shamrocks and two pots.
Insert the shamrocks into the pots and you're done!
We think the clover pots look very cute, wishing you lots of fun on St Patrick's Day!
