On Earth Day, we are making a healthy treat for our little monsters. Plus, we are making these strawberry ladybugs very cute. We are not sharing a recipe with this blog; this treat speaks for itself. Stick the fruit together with au bain marie melted chocolate, and use leftover chocolate to decorate. That is all!
Here is how you make these cute Ladybugs
Wash the fruit.
Cut the strawberries in halves.
Melt the chocolate chips.
'Glue' the blueberries on the strawberries.
Let the chocolate set.
Make chocolate dots on the starwberries.
Pour the remaining chocolate into a piping bag.
Pipe feelers of chocolate and let them set well.
Stick the feelers onto the Ladybugs heads with chocolate.
Allow the chocolate to set really well, in the fridge. If you want your bugs to be really firm, you can stick them on a cocktail stick. We do not, because our monsters are very young and we don't want any accidents with sticks. ;)
