We've (finally) read Limbusland! The new book Dutch author Pieter Koolwijk wrote especially for the Give a Book Gift campaign, and which was beautifully illustrated by illustr ator/artist Linde Faas. It's a fantastic story about a little boy who, along with the penguin Kwark, finds himself in a world he's never seen before. There, they experience all sorts of adventures together. The book is written with much imagination, it's beautiful and also exciting!
We don't want to give away any of the story; it's more fun if you read it yourself. The "Give a Book as a Gift" promotion ended a while ago. The book is no longer available for € 2.99 in bookstores. But even if you missed out, it's still available, now for € 9.99. Another option is the library, where you're sure to find it. Do read it, the monsters really enjoyed the story again. (Only in Dutch!)
