This year there was a lovely Christmas picture book under the Christmas tree for our little monsters, with a cozy story about Little Blue Truck. This picture book has nice thick pages, perfect for young children's eager hands and a Christmas tree with coloured twinkle lights in the back. The cover of the book is printed with shiny blue and red letters.
Alice Schertle's fun story is completely in rhyme, as always in the Little Blue Truck books. The beautiful illustrations were created by Jill McElmurry. Little Blue Truck goes to work! At this time of year he is very busy, he delivers Christmas trees to all his animal friends. But does he still have time to celebrate Christmas?
The rhyming story is cheerful and sweet, the illustrations are also sweet and beautiful and the coloured Christmas lights at the back of the book twinkle on and off. Christmas couldn't be more beautiful! Merry Christmas to all!
