Tomorrow is a festive day in America—it’s the Fourth of July. Today, we’re making fun red, white, and blue bag charms, to attach to our school bags tomorrow. It’s our way to join in the celebration with our friends in the United States ;)))
How to make a Fourth of July bag charm
How to make a Fourth of July bag charm
Cut out the printed patterns.
Pin the patterns onto the felt.
Cut them out neatly.
Pin the parts together.
Tie on, onto the back.
Sew the stars with tiny stitches.
Then sew the stars on the cirkel.
Pin the second circle to the first and sew them together with the blanket stitch , but leave a small opening for stuffing.
The blanket stitch: stick the thread through the loop and pul.
Then fill the circle with the woolen stuffing.
Put a piece of doubled ribbon into the gap, sew it on.
Then sew the gap neatly closed.
After the circle we also make a star shaped bag charm.
We slide on a pretty bead and the bag charms are ready!
We wish everyone celebrating tomorrow a wonderful Fourth of July!
