What do you need?
a piece of hardboard
a saw
blackboard paint
a paint tray and a roller
an (old) picture frame 50x70cm
Today we are making a simple blackboard for the monsters to happily draw on. We have a cheap old photo frame lying around somewhere, which comes in very handy now. It is also still available now at Ikea's, for a very reasonable price, in black or in white.
How to make your own handy blackboard
Stir the paint vigorously using a wooden stick.
Roll of the excess paint by rolling over the ridges in the tray.
Apply a thin layer of paint onto the hardboard.
The yellow you see in the top corner on the right is the reflection of the sun in the paint :))
Allow the paint to dry well and paint on a second layer and after drying well again paint a third layer on top
Allow the paint to dry completely overnight.
Empty the picture frame and put in the hardboard.
Bend the metal strips firmly back.
Now the blackboard has a neat finish instantly.
The blackboard is ready, draw something nice on it Puk!
Puk gets to work immediatly with the chalk crayons, the crayons were already waiting for him! ;))
