a bag of marshmallows
1 piece of chocolate, colour to taste
lollipop sticks
coloured sprinkles
homemade sugar eyes
Today the little monsters are making marshmallow pops for Halloween. But not before we have done the preparation (hot water and melted chocolate!). In the meantime, they are already poking holes in the marshmallows, using a wooden skewer.
Later on, they will stick lollipop sticks into the pops, when the chocolate has cooled down a little. Then comes the best part of all, the little monsters are dipping the marsmallows in chocolate, in sprinkles and then sticking on the eyes. Fingers are licked :))
How to make Marshmallow Pops for Halloween
Place a heatproof bowl on top and bring the water to the boil.
Chop the chocolate finely and place it into the bowl.
Remove the pan from the fire when the chocolate starts to melt.
The marshmallows have holes already.
Dip the sticks into the hot chocolate.
Poke the sticks into the marshmallows.
Allow the chocolate on the sticks to set, then stir the warm chocolate briefly until smooth and set it aside to cool down
Now it's the monsters turn...
Dip the marshmallows up to halfway into the chocolate.
Turn the marshmallows around in the sprinkles.
Stick your homemade sugar eyes onto the marshmallows.
Allow the chocolate dry and let it set completely.
Place the Marshmallow Pops upright so that the back can dry as well.
