Today a funny cardboard book for Easter, with Snoopy in the lead role: Meet the Easter Beagle. The American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz has published a relentless stream of Peanuts and Snoopy cartoons since 1950, both in newspaper comics and in book form.
It's unbelievable how long Snoopy and the Peanuts books are and remain so beloved worldwide. Probably because children (and adults who have not forgotten their childhood) will always remain children.
The cartoon characters of the Peanuts and Snoopy are special, original and cute, the stories are just as original and very funny. Mr. Schulz had an antenna for how children approach a certain situation and how the other kids then react to it. Unfortunately, the book has not been translated into Dutch.
