400g cherries ( or 1 jar)
3 organic eggs
40g caster sugar
40g all purpose flour
100 ml double cream
125ml whole milk
15g butter, to grease
125 ml double cream
1 tablespoon caster sugar
Optional:  Icing sugar,
Whipped cream
Vanilla ice cream
Today we are making simple, delicious French cherry tarts, using cherries from a jar. Unfortunately, cherry season is already over, so it is nice that you can buy them in a jar, without pits! You also need 6 ramekins, for this recipe.

This little tart is a favorite of the little monsters, especially (we think) because there is a choice regarding what you want to put on your tart. They may choose what they prefer: icing sugar, whipped cream, or ice cream. Some choose icing sugar and (a little) whipped cream or ice cream :)))

Here's how you make mini Cherry Clafoutis
Break the eggs into a bowl.
Add the sifted icing sugar.
Whisk the mixture until smooth.
Sift in the flour gradually.
Whisk it in until well combined.
Then wisk in the double cream.
Finally you add the milk and whisk it in.
Preheat the oven to 200°C
Brush the ramekins securely with butter.
Divide the cherries over the 6 ramekins.
Pour the batter over the cherries.
Place the ramekins on the rack in the middle of the oven.
Bake the mini Cherry Clafoutis in about 25 minutes golden brown  and risen
Allow them to cool briefly, on a wire rack.
Serve the Clafoutis lukewarm with the topping of your choice.
Enjoy and have a Happy Winter!
