With Dutch Children's Book Week 2018 just over and the theme of 'Friendship' fresh in mind, the Dutch translation of the book that would have fitted perfectly with this theme appears today: Nowhere Boy. The book is written by the American journalist / youth book writer Katherine Marsh.

Katherine Marsh lived for three years in Brussels with husband and children, where she got the inspiration to write Nowhere Boy. The book has since been translated into Dutch, French, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Italian, Spanish, Catalan, Greek, Portuguese (Brazilian edition, Portuguese edition), Korean, Chinese, Mandarin, Polish and Czech.

Niemands jongen 01

This book has the world's most important theme of our time, the refugee crisis. But it is also about friendship, compassion and hope. The story is very accessibly written and everyone should read it. With the holidays coming up this book makes a wonderful gift, or look for it in your library.

3 radiant shining stars for Nowhere Boy, from the readers and the mini-monsters!
