Today we're making more Super Mario Mushrooms, but this time Marshmallow Pops. It's a fun project, with a tasty treat at the end—the little monsters love to help us out! But we'll melt the chocolate ourselves. We'll put a saucepan with a thin layer of water on low heat, with a heatproof bowl over it.
French bakers call this a "bain marie," and it's perfect for melting chocolate. Give it a try, or melt your chocolate in the microwave, if you prefer. Such a cute Birthday treat, to gift at school!
