We are reading a wonderful book: Ocean, by the French biologist Emmanuelle Grundmann, who wrote the text. The exquisite decoupage illustrations are made by Hélène Druvert, a French artist.
The hardcover book is beautifully published, in a large format. It contains a lot of information, both about the ocean and the animals that live in it. Many children's questions are answered in a beautiful way, in this book.
With the cut out illustrations and flaps, the book is somewhat fragile, not suitable for small children's hands. But it is understandable that even the youngest mini-monsters are attracted by the beautiful prints in the book!
