200g self raising flour
200g butter (room temperature)
200g caster sugar
3 free range eggs (roomtemp.)
sachet vanilla sugar
dash of salt
100g white chocolate melts
3 tablespoons double cream
yellow sprinkles and chocolate eggs

The mini-monsters favirite cake is avery simple vanilla cake. But...for Easter Sunday we make it extra yummy, by adding a thin layer of white chocolate, some sprinkles and a few coloured Easter eggs :)) To make the cake just a little more festive. Happy Easter!

How to make our Easter cake

Preheat the oven to 180°C

Put butter and both sugars in the mixer.

Mix it all together until it becomes a fluffy, creamy mixture.

Mix in the eggs, one by one.

Ouickly fold the flour and salt into the mixture.

Stir all into a smooth batter.

Grease the mold and dust it with flour.

Spoon the batter into the cake mold.

Bake the cake for 40-45 minutes.

Let the cake cool completely.

Tip the cake onto a platter.

Melt the chocolate au bain marie.

Stir the cream into the chocolate.

Spread chocolate all over the cake.

Scatter sprinkles over the cake and press here and there a mini egg in the chocolate. Happy Easter!
