What do you need?
square kite paper white
square kite paper red
a piece white paper
a hole punch
a glue stick
It's fall and we're folding cute toadstools, more or less the Waldorf way. The little monsters watched this fun video online, so we like to share it with you. They wanted to start folding right away, so here's the video and our toadstools :))) We're making ours red with white dots, of kite paper, but you can (of course) fold them in any colour you like. There's one part of the folding that takes a little practice, but the rest of it is very easy. The toadstools look so cute on the window!
How to fold these cute mushrooms
Fold the paper from right to left in half and then fold it open..
Fold the left point to the middle line and on right the same.
Flip your folding over, with the smooth side upwards.
Fold the top point backwards and turn it over again.
Fold in the top point so it becomes shorter and you have a straight fold.
Fold both sides of the straight fold slanted, pointing downwards.
Stick your finger into the fold and open it, on both sides.
Flatten the opened up parts on both sides.
Fold 3 points of the hat and the bottom point of the stem inward.
Fold a red leaf over the hat.
Trace it with a pencil and cut it out.
Glue the red hat on top of the white.
Punch out some white dots and stick them on the hat.
Stick your mushroom(s) prettily on the window.
