2 free range eggs
250g soft dark brown sugar
30g gingerbread spice
1 tablespoon honey
100ml water
250g self-raising flour
knob of butter
There is nothing tastier than homemade gingerbread. Especially in winter with a cup of hot chocolate to go with it!
How to make gingerbread
Place eggs, brown sugar, spice, honey and water in a bowl.
Stir all ingredients firmly together until combined.
Add the flour in parts and stir it firmly into the mixture.
Stir into a shiny, smooth batter, it smells delicious already.
Prehat the oven to 180 ° C.
Spoon the batter into a mold, greased and flour dusted.
Bake the cake 60 minutes in the middle of the oven.
Allow the gingerbread to cool in the mold on a wire rack.
Cut the spicy gingerbread into thick slices.
Serve it with soft butter.
