120g soft butter
150g peanut butter
1 free-range organic egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
150g soft brown sugar
200g all pupose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
pinch salt
100g Tony's chocolate
Today we bake cookies, peanut butter cookies with chocolate chips inside. This is a favorite cookie in America, but that said, they eat a lot of cookies over there! In any case, there are three things that the mini monsters also really like to eat, cookies, peanut butter and chocolate : D
How make Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Cookies
Mix butter and peanut butter until creamy.
Mix in the egg and the vanilla extract.
Put flour, salt, baking powder into a bowl.
Stir it all together until combined.
Add the flour to the peanut butter mixture.
Mix until all is well combined.
Chop the chocolate into little peices.
Knead the chocolate into the dough.
Roll the doug into a cylinder.
Wrap the dough in cling film.
Put it in the refrigerator.
Allow the dough to rest for at least a couple of hours, preferably overnight
Preheat the oven to 180°C
Place baking paper on the tray.
Cut cookies of 1.5 cm thickness.
Bake the cookies for 15 minutes.
Allow the cookies to cool on the tray.
Keep the cookies fresh in the cookie tin ...
or eat them the minute they are cooled!
