Spicy Mackerel paté

delicious with homemade bread

Makreel pate side

Shopping list
200g smoked mackerel fillet
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons creme fraîche
1 teaspoon horseradish sauce
sea salt & freshly ground black pepper
1/2 bunch chives

For lunch with bread or on toast with a glass of wine, both ways taste delicious. Freshly homemade snacks are always the best!

Here is how tho make the Mackerel paté

Loosen the mackerel with a fork.

Cut the chives fine.

Add the chives to the fish.

Add the horseradish sauce.

Add two tablespoons crème fraîche.

Finaly pour the lemon juice over it.

Spoon the fish mixture into the blender.

Pulse it a few times but keep some structure.

Spoon the mackerel paté in a bowl and serve it with bread.
