150g caster sugar
150g soft butter
1 free range egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
250g plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
75g icing sugar
1-1.5 tablespoon water
1-2 drops lemon juice
1 drop red food colouring
pink sprinkles

How to make plum blossom biscuits
Downloadthe recipe to make the cookie dough
Roll the dough to 1.5 cm thickness.
Cut out flowers using a cookie cutter.
Bake the biscuits in 10 min. golden.
Let them cool on a wire rack.
Meanwhile make the pink glaze
Place the sugar and lemon juice in a bowl.
Trickle in water and stir, until the desired thickness.
Stir in the drop of food colouring.
When the glaze is to thick add drops of water.
Spread glaze on the biscuits using a small spoon.
Trace with a cocktail stick red colouring in the wet glaze.
Scatter a few pink sprinkles on the biscuits.
