What do you need?
Our template (it's in PDF format)
Poster board (50x70 cm), orange, black, white
Small pieces of green and red poster board
A Pencil
A ruler
Scissors
Glue stick and/or craft glue
Large marker, black
paperclips
Last minute, Puk comes up with a fun idea for a Halloween craft. He wants to make Minecraft-style block heads, but based on Halloween characters—a skeleton, a pumpkin, and a bat.

We point out that Halloween is almost here. But Puk insists they’ll be done in no time, and he gets straight to work. Grandpa and Puk draw up a plan, and we’ll see how it turns out!

How to make Halloween Blockheads
Copy the template drawing, using the indicated dimensions.
Draw the figure on orange cardboard, cut out, score and fold it.
Give your pumpkin head  a face using the marker.
Brush glue onto the glue strips on the pumpkin.
Press the glue strips into a square shape, secure them with paperclips, and leave it, for the glue in the pumpkin to dry

Then make a skull
Meanwhile Puk cuts and glues a stem on top.
Then draw the template on white cardboard.
This head is longer in front than back.
Otherwise, make it exactly the same as the pumpkin, except the skull has teeth and no stem on top
Leave the heads to dry together.
Our final head is the bat, make it in the same way.
Allow the glue inside the head to dry and put on paperclips again.
Draw and cut out the eyes, ears, teeth and the wings.

Stick the eyes,  ears and teeth onto the bat and let it dry again.
Now just attach the wings and all three heads are done!
We are so proud of our Puk; he came up with such a great idea—the heads turned out absolutely funny, and they were finished right on time, too!

Happy Halloween!
