It seems like we are reading a very special picture book every week right now, and today is no exception; we are reading *Rules of Summer* by Shaun Tan. The cool, imaginative illustrations and the funny story about a big and a little brother finding their way together make this book so brilliant.
We don't think the little monsters will get it the way we do, but they do find the book funny and, above all, fascinating. Shaun Tan is also a fascinating man, because this is not the only book he has written; we certainly have a long list of his books that we would love to read as well.
