During a visit to Fairytale park Efteling we discovered a picture book of Roodkapje (Little Red Riding Hood), part two of a series of new Efteling fairytale books. The beautiful illustrations by Mark Janssen immediately caught our eye. He has very cleverly incorporated the specific retro atmosphere of the Efteling into his contemporary style of drawing.
The fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood is very well known, but the Efteling has given it a fun twist. Little Red Riding Hood is not at all afraid of the wolf, even though her mother warned her.
