The picture books of Publishers Christofoor are mostly exactly what the mini-monsters (and we too) like. They are about gnomes and elves, the garden and being outside, annual parties and the seasons for example.
But today we read a wonderful picture book from Australian children's author Libby Gleason for the little ones. A sweet story about a little boy who is moving, but who prefers to stay in his trusted little house. Until he discovers that friendship makes everything better.
The wonderful illustrations by Freya Blackwood, fit the story perfectly. You see the shy Sander with his cuddly toy dog, his support and the enterprising Sophie who just walks up to him. Of course they become the best friends!
