For our youngest Sinterklaas fans we have bought the recently released cardboard book Sinterklaas with Mouse. It is a part of the series Thuis bij Muis which is written by Pauline Baartmans in collaboration with Leny van Grootel. The fun illustrations are also made by Pauline Baartmans.
Although the monsters say it is a nice book and the verses are also nice, for us it will remain with this one book of the series. The umpteenth extensive series about the seasons and the holidays may be missing from our bookcase without regret. We would like the books better if the subjects were a bit more original.
