We quickly get on with what we started yesterday. The children have waited long enough, this afternoon we will be tasting!
How to make Sinterklaasjes
Take the dough out of the refrigerator and preheat the oven to 170°C
Cut out a simple Sinterklaas shape.
Place them on waxed paper on a baking tray.
Bake the biscuits for 10 to 12 minutes.
Let the biscuits cool completely.
- Roll a piece of ted fondant, place it on a biscuit and cut around it.
- Start with making 1 Sinterklaas then you work in series.
- Keep the shapes simple, that will work best.
Cut a slice out of the front of the coat.
Roll a small piece of white fondant.
Place the red on the white and cut it out.
Cut out a white ruffle then stick all loose parts on.
Cut out of the red triangle a miter and two strips, stick on.
Roll white for hair and beard then roll a little ball.
Cut the bal in two halves and stick them on, the hands.
Cut a yellow cross then stick on.
Now cut out all parts in a series.
Stick them on in sequence.
Now the work goes nice and fast!
Stick eyes and mouths on the Sinterklaas' faces.
The little ones make Sinterklaas even prettier!
Have fun!
