Now a fun picture book has been nominated for in the Top 10 of The Dutch National Reading Days 2018: Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site. It is written entirely in rhyme by Sherri Duskey-Rinker. She is an American children's book author who also has a young son who loves construction sites.
The funny illustrations are made by Tom Lichtenheld his style for this book is retro/cartoony, which we really like. He brings the toys to life for the little ones. Finally, the translation, again fantastically done by Edward van de Vendel. The Dutch text also rhymes perfectly and is just as funny as the original, very nice!
