Snelle Piet ging uit fietsen, by half november it is time for this cozy little book with the old familiar Sinterklaas songs. The text is unobtrusively but brilliantly adapted to the current times, by Koos Meinderts.
On the accompanying CD, Mathilde Santing sings 18 well known Dutch Sinterklaas songs in different styles. Some with the support of children's voices, which we like best. After the songs, the instrumental version of the songs will set in so that the kids can enjoy themselves singing (loudly) along. Such fun!
The booklet is - very special - illustrated with funny, cheerful Sinterklaas paper cuttings by cutting artist Geertje Aalders. Very pretty! The songs on Snelle Piet ging uit fietsen (Fast Piet went out biking) are enthusiastically sung by our youngest mini-monsters. That by itself is why this booklet with included CD is a must have for us ;)
