What do you need?
craft cardboard, in pastel colors
heart-shaped cookie cutter
pencil
pair of scissors
white paper
a glue stick
lancing device and a mat
a cotton thread
We are going to make a fun garland for Valentine's Day. The little monsters don't have to think long about what that garland should look like. Hearts, that's for sure, the garland is for Valentine's Day! They like it even more when we decide on candy hearts, not real ones of course but made of cardboard. We're going to start right away!
How to make a Valentine Candy Hearts garland
Trace with a pencil a heart cookie cutter, on cardstock.
Neatly cut out the hearts and set them aside.
Download and print our letters and cut them out neatly.
Use a sewing shear to cut out the inner parts.
Stick the letters on the hearts.
Poke holes in the hearts.
Lace the thread trough the holes.
Tie loops on both ends of the thread.
Find a good spot for the garland and hang it.
