clothes pegs
These spider webs are not difficult to make, the mini monsters think it is a really fun craft. The youngest (5 year old) find winding the web around the sticks a bit difficult, but do not give up, it will work out fine. The webs are beautiful, all three!
How to make spider webs
Glue two sticks in an X shape.
Stick the third one on top.
Let dry with a clothes peg clipped on.
Stick eyes on the pompoms.
Allow the glue to dry well, the clothes pegs keep the sticks in their place
Let the eyes dry too.
Paint the sticks white.
Cut 4 thread black cotton.
Tie them together.
Stick the legs on the spider.
Paint the other side white.
Let the paint dry.
Tie a thread around the center and wind it in a star shape.
Wind continuesly from under to above on the sticks, then tie off.
Leave a long thread on the web then tie a loop at the end.
Stick the spiders on the webs.
Find the spider webs in a nice spot.
Happy Autumn!
