What do you need?
a sheet of blue craft cardboard, A4
a sheet of green craft foam, A4
small pieces of foam, in many colours
white craft cardboard
piece of light blue craft cardboard
popsicle stick
acrylic paint (blue) and brush
pencil
scissors and embroidery scissors
hobby glue & double-sided tape
Dad likes superhero movies very much and the mini monsters think that so cool. Today we make a portrait of daddy, in a superhero outfit with cape. If you move the stick back and forth, Dad will come flying in no time, if that's no superpower!
How to make Super Dad
Paint the stick blue.
Cut clouds out of cardboard.
Stick the clouds on blue cardboard.
Cut the grass from green foam.
Print our PDF and neatly cut out all the parts
Trace Dad on cardboard.
And again on light blue.
Cut out both figures.
Stick the two figures together and let the glue dry, light blue is the right side
Trace the small parts in the pattern on foam
Cut all parts out of foam.
Stick them on Super Dad.
Now Dad is done.
Stick on the grass using tape.
If you should glue the grass to the cardboard the stick cannot slide, that is why we use doublesided photo tape
Draw a face on Daddy.
In principle Super Dad is ready now!
But we have a message for Dad.
Draw the letters on foam then cut them out.
Stick your message on the grass.
Your dad will be so happy with your craft! Happy Father's Day everyone!
