The Night Before St Patrick's Day

Saint Patrick's Day is Ireland's most important holiday. Every year on March 17, this day is celebrated on a grand scale! Parades are held and/or fairs are set up all over the country. Children sing and dance and wear something green on this day. It could be a sweater or trousers, but hairpins or headbands are also often seen.

Irish children do crafts for St. Patrick's Day at school; they sing special songs and dance along. It is a joyful celebration! In the morning at breakfast, Irish children get green eggs on their plates, but we really don't want to think about that., brrr We prefer making tasty green things. ;)))
