Valentine Crow and Mr. Death is a highly original story by Jenni Spangler, with unique illustrations she made herself. The epic cover illustration was made by Flavia Sorrentino This is a wonderful book to read aloud, and also to listen to, as it tuns out after reading the first chapter. The monsters are dying to know ;))  how the story develops (and so are we).

Valentine Crow's story is creepy yet funny, dark, but the friendship between Valentine and Filomena makes it lighter. Will Valentine find a solution to his dilemma and save Filomena? With which he brings himself and not to mention Mr. Death likely in a very difficult position? Are you as curious as we are to know how it will end? Do read the book!

A brilliant and original story, the likes of which you will rarely find in children's book. We love this book and like to highly recommend it!

3+ shining stars for Valentine Crow & Mr. Death, from our young listeners and their readers!
