It's October 2 and today the children's book week starts! From now until October 13 you will receive the children's book week gift with every children's book that you buy (from 10.00 euros) for free. This year the free book is called Shark Teeth (only in Dutch)) and it is written by Anna Woltz.
Anna Woltz already won a Golden and a Silver Stylus for her books. On October 5th you can meet her, at Donner Bookstore in the center of Rotterdam. On the same day Kikker will be there too, for the little ones!
As always, a Children's Book Week picture book is in the bookstore at the same time, for a small price, as not to pass the little ones by! This year's picture book is written by famous Dutch astronaut André Kuipers and it is fun and brightly illustrated by Natascha Stenvert.
On wednesday October 9 André Kuipers will be visiting the Donner Bookstore in the center of Rotterdam. if you ask nicely he will surely sign your new book ;)
