Children's Book Week 2026 kicks off today and the theme is tis year Spot aan! (Spot on!)The monsters have already been talking about it at school, and there’s a poster at the library showing all sorts of fun activities you can join in on. It all looks absolutely awesome.
For preschoolers, there are funny, sweet, and entertaining new picture books published. What’s more, a special picture book has been created for Children's Book Week that costs just €7.99. Naturally, older kids aren't forgotten either; you receive a free book when you purchase a book for at least €13.50.

We’re also posting the 2026 Children’s Book Week song by *Kinderen voor Kinderen* online, for our young snazzie readers. Our little monsters have been fans of *Kinderen voor Kinderen* for years, and this song is sure to be another hit! We certainly love it—we’ve already listened to it four times today (and school hasn’t even started yet :))).
