The monsters are reading another fun book by Kluitman in the "Reading is Fun" series, but now we read AVI M3, so it's a bit more challenging than the start books. The short stories are again written by Dutch children's author Anne Blokker , and the funny illustrations in the book are made byals Dutch illustrator/painter Alex de Wolf.
The concept is the same as in the previous books we read: short stories with topics that are close to home for 6-7 year olds. These might be about playing outside, grocery shopping, or even more distant topics, like space travel. That's definitely a topic they enjoy reading about. A pleasant surprise for the little monsters while reading. ;)) All in all, this is a great series for beginning readers!
